Ladies Football Club
Our Ladies Football club was established in the 1990's. Since their inception they have had fantasic results with county and district championships and several inter-county players in their ranks. The ladies club field teams at under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and adult level.
The dedication and hardwork of their committee and mentors is exceptional and this is
shown in the levels of success they have brought to the club, particularly in recent years. So far in 2004, the girls have wona county championship at Under 14 level and are well on the way to a semi final place at under 12. As well as succedding in their own right, the ladies football club are supplying players at under 12 and 14 to the boys teams - a testament to the skills and abilities both in the girls themselves and in the training abilites and talents of their mentors.
